Missing Children Seminar for CEOs

This two day seminar, hosted by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children®, familiarizes participants with issues related to missing child cases including effective policies and practices, technical assistance, training and available resources. Participants are expected to attend all training segments and complete an evaluation form.

This course is designed for chiefs, sheriffs, 911 directors and clearinghouse managers. Only applicants in these positions will be considered.

13.5 hours of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification is available for all attending Virginia law enforcement officers.

CEO Course Overview


On-site/Alexandria, VA: The cost of admittance, training materials, airfare and single occupancy lodging are covered while attending classes at NCMEC headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Off-site: The cost of admittance and training materials are covered by NCMEC. Unless otherwise noted, limited lodging and travel assistance is available on a first come first serve basis. If you need to request travel assistance, please indicate this on your application.

* NCMEC will reimburse qualified attendees for up to two nights of lodging at the government rate. No other assistance is available from NCMEC for this course.
